Welcome to St. John’s Farm!

St. John’s Farm was designed by Nature Based, a small business in Brooklyn which specializes in creating innovative yet feasible ecological systems. Our farm-garden had its first growing season in the spring, summer, and fall of 2021. We are excited about this mission-fit project that plans to share its harvest with our neighbors. Our goal is to grow nutrient-rich and sustainable food to share for free with our neighbors. Last year we grew and gave away distinct varieties of over a dozen different kinds of fruits and vegetables and we also planted apple trees, blueberry and blackberry plants, paw paw trees, and a peach tree that we hope will produce in the seasons to come.

Friday, May 29th at 3:00PM the summer fruit and vegetables will be planted.

On Sundays after church and on Wednesdays in the evenings we host open “office” hours for people to come work on the farm-garden. Work needed includes: weeding, watering, harvesting, and planting.
